Slovenian is spoken by almost 2 million people. Slovenia is indeed a small country, but it is an important trading partner, especially for Austria and Germany. Therefore, Slovenian translators and interpreters are in demand.
ISO 17100- certified Translations Slovenian
Before being delivered to the client, our technical and legal specialist translations German ↔ Slovenian & English ↔ Slovenian are compared with the respective source texts by skilled revisers and checked in order to ensure that the translations are complete, grammatically correct, stylistically appropriate and that the terminology is consistent. We guarantee consistently high quality by complying with strict qualification criteria when selecting our translators and by adhering to the Four Eyes principle. All translations are carried out by academically qualified translators who only translate into their native language, have excellent knowledge of the source and target language and are also well versed in the terminology and the linguistic conventions of the respective specialist field (engineering, law, business etc.). Thanks to our transparent cost calculation method, our prices are always fixed for Slovenian translations.
Translator Slovenian - Specialist fields
The range of topics offered for Slovenian includes, but is not limited to:
- technical translations (operating instructions, technical documentation, data sheets, maintenance instructions, installation instructions etc.)
- legal translations (rental agreements, purchasing agreements, GDPR documents, employment contracts, general terms and conditions etc.)
- financial translations (annual reports, tenders etc.)
- translations of marketing texts (SEO translation of websites and online shops, folders, catalogues, press releases etc.)
Specialist Translations Slovenian - Costs
The costs for Slovenian translations are calculated based on the number of words in the source language. Thus, our prices are always fixed prices. For larger projects, such as translations of websites or technical documentation, our translators use CAT tools such as memoQ and Across. By using high-tech translation software, we can offer not only significant price advantages, but also translations compiled directly in the existing layout (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, XML, PHP, etc.). With InDesign files, we also need the IDML file.
Sworn Translation Slovenian
In addition to ISO 17100 certified specialist translations, Translation Agency Vienna | Connect Translations also offers sworn translations from Slovenian into German and vice versa. Sworn translations are carried out by Austrian court interpreters. A court interpreter confirms the exact conformity of the translation with the original by means of an attestation, his signature and a seal. Therefore, a revision carried out by a second translator is not included. The costs for sworn translations are calculated according to the number of lines in the target language.
Interpreter Slovenian German - Costs
The price for interpreting assignments usually comprises several components. In addition to the fee for the interpreter, in some cases there will also be travel expenses, accommodation and food costs and – for longer journeys – compensation for time the interpreter spends travelling. For short assignments (e.g. interpreting for the signing of a contract at a notary’s or lawyer’s office), a minimum fixed price will be applied to cover all of the components. With conference interpreting (booth interpreting and/or simultaneous interpreting), interpreters always work in teams of two. More information on the price for interpreting services can be found here.

At our interpreting agency you can rent the latest interpreting equipment (interpreting booths, public address systems, headphones, microphones etc.), portable interpretation systems for the interpreter, discussion equipment and the latest conference and event equipment.
